BMW reveals the New 3 Series (w/Images and Video)
BMW has announced pricing and details of its new 3 Series saloon, ahead of the model's official unveiling at 3PM (BST) today. Since 1975 BMW has sold more than 12 million 3 Series and the sixth-generation 3er is set to continue the success of its predecessors.

Porsche Supercup ace René Rast tests BMW’s M3 DTM for the 2012 season
If you've watched any of this season's F1-supporting Porsche Supercup races, then you'll have heard of René Rast - the young 24-year old German driver who has dominated Porsche Supercup and Carerra Cup racing for the past 3 years. Winner of the Porsche Carrera World Cup in 2011, Rast was Porsche Supercup champion in 2010, runner-up in 2009 and German Carrera Cup champion in 2008.

Mazda marks the end of RX-8 production with the Japanese-only SPIRIT R
Remember the RX-8? It seems a long while since we heard from Mazda's rotary-engine four-door, four-seat sports coupe, but it's still on sale and the Japanese market is receiving a final special edition version called the RX-8 SPIRIT R.

Nissan gives the green light to 480 bhp Juke-R concept (w/VIDEO)
Hopefully mine won't be the only voice of reason in response to the news this morning that Nissan have decided to build a 480 bhp Juke-R. The idea first surfaced at last month's Frankfurt motor show - we had a giggle and thought "what fun!", but then quickly consigned it to the drawer marked 'Things you might do if the world economy was a little brighter'.
