The Horse Whisperer speaks out over Ford’s F-150 lawsuit
Ford has settled in its lawsuit against Ferrari, in which it accused the Italian car maker of infringing its trademark for its best selling F-150 truck. Ford dropped their lawsuit yesterday, although the terms of any settlement are unknown.

Aston Martin Racing challenges for LMP1 victory with the AMR-One
If a good looking race-car was also a fast one, then this new Aston Martin LMP1 race-car would already have the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup (ILMC) championship clinched. Named AMR-One, a total of six cars will be built, with the factory team running one car in the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup which includes the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans and two cars at selected events.

Bahrain GP is Cancelled
Organisers of the Bahrain Grand Prix have cancelled the March 13 event, due to continued civil unrest in the country. The race which was due to start the 2011 Formula One season may now be scheduled for later in the year, but organisers said that no decision had been taken yet.

Lewis Hamilton’s brother, Nic joins the Renault Clio Cup UK
Nicolas Hamilton, brother of 2008 FIA Formula 1 World Champion Lewis, will make his motor sport debut by contesting the 2011 Renault Clio Cup with Total Control Racing (TCR). Nic has long been a successful competitor in RC (remote control car) Racing and video gaming, but this is his first time competing in cars.

Volkswagen plays it rough with the 434 bhp Golf24
Volkswagen has announced that it is to return to the demanding Nürburgring 24-hour race in 2011 with an all-new challenger – the Golf24. Equipped with four-wheel drive and developing 434 bhp, the dramatic racing version of Volkswagen’s best-selling model has already undergone initial testing in Portugal and Italy ahead of the legendary 24-hour race.

Robert Kubica seriously injured in Andora Rally
Lotus Renault driver Robert Kubica is undergoing surgery on multiple fractures after suffering a high-speed accident while competing in the Ronde di Andora Rally in Italy. The 26-year-old Pole is said to be in a stable condition after surgery and although his injuries weren't life-threatening, it is unlikely that Kubica will be fit by the time the 2011 F1 season begins on March 13th.
