With crowds flocking to Snetterton this weekend for what often delivers some of the best BTCC action of the year, it's also worth remembering that there's a full line-up of support grids, including the spectacular Porsche Carrera Cup GB.

Team Parker Racing's Kiern Jewiss currently heads the rankings but with just five points separating the top four, and others very capable of rising to the top, it looks like we're guaranteed some of the fastest and closest racing of the year, just like we saw at Donington earlier in the year.

There's never been any doubt over the pace of Tom Ingram, nor with the cars he's raced, but looking back on past seasons, despite the fact that I love a Ginsters, his liveries have tended to be a little, err . . dull: But not any longer!

Here he is at this week's Donington hybrid shakedown test, looking fast, determined, and very very sharp.

The EXCELR8 squad have done a superb job with the Hyundai and there's every reason to believe that in more ways than one, this is going to be one of the standout touring cars of 2022.
