The production version of the 918 Spyder hybrid - first seen in concept form at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show - went on sale from this week. The two-seater roadster, inspired by the design of the Carrera GT and the 917, is built around a carbonfibre-reinforced plastic monococque structure and has manually-removable roof panels which can be stored in the front luggage compartment.

The 4C Concept follows on from the success of the 8C Competizione and Spider, but rather than the £100k plus price tag of its elder sibling the 4C is likely to be much more affordable when it eventually goes on sale.
