Audi’s New A6 treads lightly
The launch of Audi's new A6 feels like it's been overshadowed by the A7 which arrived on the scene back in July. Back then Audi described the A7 as "..standing almost toe to toe with the current A6 Saloon" and now that we've pored over the details of this new A6, this quote could be reworded from 'almost' to 'exactly' - we're struggling to spot the difference between the two, apart from the A7's fastback rear and higher price.

Driven: BMW’s 2011 X3 xDrive20d SE
It seems fortuitous that BMW chose a snowy Austria for the UK launch of its new 2011 X3, in fact the timing couldn't have been any more perfect. As I write this, much of the UK is gripped by the most wintry November conditions in recent memory, Ideal for the four-wheel-drive SUV sector that BMW has targeted with its X3. Peugeot’s RCZ ads poke fun at Odi and Paurche..
We like a bit of tongue-in-cheek playfulness in our commercials, it's a well proven recipe to viral success and works particularly well when seasoned with a pinch of controversy. Over the past few years Audi and BMW have traded blows in ever more hostile outdoor campaigns and Lexus are also quite partial to a bit of anti-Germanic rhetoric.

The analogue brand in a digital age
In an age when we've become obsessed by gadgets, where car adverts compete for budget with the very best Hollywood trailers and marketing campaigns try to seize our attention with high-impact messages, it's such a pleasant relief to find Land Rover quietly and calmly calling a spade a spade.
