Well, perhaps not here in the UK, but rather than let rain, snow and freezing-fog stop play, Jaguar has chosen to launch its new XKR-S Convertible in sunny Los Angeles during this week's Auto Show.

The collaboration between Mercedes-AMG and Ducati is beginning to bear fruit as the Bologna-based motorcycle company launched its first AMG enhanced model at this week's Frankfurt Motor Show. The Diavel AMG Special Edition is inspired by the unmistakable design of the AMG performance brand, which Ducati hope will imbue their range with a mixture of exclusivity and bahn-storming performance.

The New Twingo Renaultsport 133 made its world premiere at Frankfurt yesterday - presented in the signature Renaultsport Liquid Yellow body colour. In addition to its dynamic grille incorporating four lights, the new Twingo Renaultsport 133 features what Renault describe as "..an F1-style front blade in the bumper".

I am in two minds about this new Maserati Kubang. On the one hand it seems entirely rational for Maserati to look on at Porsche's Cayenne and see a market opportunity, that until now, it has missed out on. But on the other hand Maserati is Fangio, Moss and that famous 1955 Mille Miglia race win along with Dennis Jenks'. Is nothing sacred anymore?

Eterniti Motors, the new luxury British carmaker, makes its public debut today at the Frankfurt Motor Show, previewing a prototype of its first product, the Hemera.
