Credibility. Essential if a fledging supercar manufacturer is to survive, but not easy to come by. Pagani is perhaps the exception to the rule – such was the quality of the original Zonda C12 and the dynamic polish lavished upon it that Pagani very quickly joined the establishment. Of course it helped that the Zonda was built in Modena, and that Pagani himself had once worked for Lamborghini.
