Audi’s A8 will be launched later on today in Miami, at an event that marks the end of a 4-day centenary celebration for the Ingolstadt brand. Thus far we only have a teaser image of the new A8, which shows it featuring a variation of the curvy daytime running lights familiar to any A4 owner.
The new A8 is expected to be lighter than the current model, using the same engine range and some new technology features including an update to Audi’s Multi-Media Interface (MMI).
“The new Audi A8 embodies everything Audi stands for: fascinating innovation, uncompromising perfection, consummate craftsmanship, iconic design and new ways of thinking. This is why we chose to present this car in this progressive environment while continuing our commitment to fostering design culture and the arts,” said Rupert Stadler, Audi’s Chairman of the Board.
Let’s see if we agree with him later on today.
