McLaren’s revised MP4-12C will be joining the supercar parade at this weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, with Vodafone McLaren Mercedes F1 driver Jenson Button at the wheel.

But if the Volcano Red production 12C is a little ‘tame’ for you, then pay a visit to McLaren GT in the Formula One Paddock where you’ll find a Union Jack attired 12C GT3, built to support UK Gov’s ‘GREAT’ campaign. Launched in 2012 by the Prime Minister’s Office and Department for Culture, Media and Sport, the GREAT campaign is designed to re-affirm Britain’s international reputation in tourism, trade and education.

The uniquely wrapped GREAT 12C GT3 race car will be running in Batch 3 of the Hill programme on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Festival of Speed and will also join the Michelin Supercar Run at 12.35pm on Saturday and Sunday.

McLaren’s revised MP4-12C features an upgraded engine, from 591bhp to 616bhp, plus throttle and gearshift modifications designed to enhance the driving experience.

A range of new styling options are now available to order for the new 12C; including a striking Volcano Yellow paint finish, exclusive new interior trim comprising Semi-Aniline perforated Leather and Alcantara, and a new Diamond Cut finish available for the multiple wheel designs. Pricing starts from £176,000 in the UK.

The new 12C will be available to view throughout the Festival of Speed in the Supercar Paddock.
