When the standard E92 M3 is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 mph in 10 seconds, you would imagine that most owners would consider it fast enough, but the temptation to find out “what if?” has fuelled the business of tuning companies for generations.
German tuner G-POWER are well known to BMW owners and already produce their EVO II supercharger system for the E90x M3 raising the 4-litre V8’s power output from 420 bhp to 580 bhp. Korean tuning company Sonic Motors then decided to take this one step further, adding an Akrapovic titanium exhaust to increase power to 600 bhp.
Performance? Well how does 0-100 mph in around 8 seconds grab you? or perhaps 0-125 mph in 11 seconds?
Thanks to Gustav from m5board.com we can now see what happens when you pack 600 bhp into a DCT equipped M3. Insane isn’t it?

Just right, not really too fast!
Great to see that people aren’t afraid to modify an M3
