Renault has got together with industrial designer, Ross Lovegrove, to show a new concept car at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan next month.

The concept, which showcases Renault’s future design strategy, will strongly influence the styling of the next Twingo, which first arrived in 2007 and was face-lifted in 2011.

Renault and Lovegrove Studio collaborated to explore several new design languages, by examining nature, its systems and energy transactions.

There’s been a strong environmental feel to the collaboration, which is intended to raise awareness of these systems – capturing nature’s underlying blueprint and translating it into a new design language.

After its unveiling on 8 April at 12:00 CET, the concept car will be exhibited at the Triennale of Milan from 9th-14th April.
