It’s one of the most prestigious motor race events in the world, whilst the ‘Grande Parade des Pilotes’ is one of the most visible automotive catwalks with thousands of fans and enthusiasts lining up to catch a glimpse of their favourite drivers.
So you’ll appreciate the kudos for new-boys, Tushek Supercars, who have been invited to participate with their new Renovatio T500 sports car.
Produced by the Slovenian car maker, the T500 is powered by a 4.2-litre V8 engine borrowed from the Audi RS4, though the Renovatio is a much lighter car, weighing in at 1090 kg. Top speed is 193mph whilst zero to 62mph is attained in just 3.7sec. Prices start at 300,000 Euros.
This coming Friday (15 June), the Tushek Renovatio T500 will join a convoy through Le Mans town centre with better-known marques such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, Koenigsegg, McLaren, Spyker and Aston Martin. They will join a selection of classic cars supplied by Le Mans Museum, which will convey the 24-hour race drivers to a fenced-off area at the Place de Jacobins – right in front of the cathedral in the city centre.
The ‘Grande Parade des Pilotes’ is organised exclusively to give the public an opportunity to interact with their driving heroes, in an exciting atmosphere and surrounded by the best of modern (and classic) road and racing machines.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for Tushek, as a marque, as well as for our brand new Renovatio T 500 model,” said Aljosa Tushek, owner and MD of Tushek Supercars.
“The Renovatio will drive along the streets of Le Mans to the cheers of a 160,000-strong crowd, and we might not resist the temptation to perform the occasional wheel spin, if asked. After all, the Renovatio’s Audi-sourced V8 has 450bhp on tap, and as the car weighs only 1090kg, it could potentially do the 5km tour of Le Mans city in less than one minute.”
Tushek Supercars is in talks with several dealers in Europe and the Middle East to secure the opportunity to supply their pure-bred sports cars. If you’re in Le Mans this Friday, then why not pop over and have a chat with Aljosa Tushek at the Place de Jacobins – he’s a petrolhead like you and I and loves sharing his passion for speed.
