It's surprising how 'normal' a supercar can look when taken away from the bright lights of a purpose-built Motor Show stand, however in these two pictures, scooped by Chris Bloxsome, we see McLaren's P1 supercar looking no bigger than it needs to be.

The McLaren P1, revealed this evening, is set to become a yardstick by which all other hypercars are compared against - much in the same way as its predecessor, the F1, did in 1992.

The familiar adage, 'The customer is always right', can sometimes prove horribly untrue. Well all I can say is that it must have been a 'very' important customer who requested this car, otherwise surely this is one step too far the fledgling McLaren Automotive.
