The new smart forspeed concept is a design study in the mould of the original 2002 smart crossblade - the two-seater has no roof or side windows and it features a low wind deflector instead of a windscreen. Unlike the crossblade, the forspeed is powered by a zero-emission all electric drive and has been created to demonstrate that zero emission cars can be great fun to drive.

AC Cars, one of the oldest and most prestigious automotive brands is returning to world’s most important automotive show with its latest model, the 2011 AC MkVI.

Infiniti have released images of their new ETHEREA concept which will is due to make its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The ETHEREA, is a compact luxury model that is said to preview how a future entry-level Infiniti could look.

German tuning company NOVITEC Rosso have spruced up Ferrari’s folding-roof California in its own inimitable style. The California’s 4.3-litre V8-engine receives a supercharger lifting its power from the standard car’s 453 bhp to a more visceral 597 bhp. Novitec Ross have named the resulting model, the RACE 606, which is perhaps no worse than a car originally named after a sunny North American state, but neither does it show a great deal of imagination (the 606 referring to the new power output in PS - Pferdestärke).

After a series of leaks during the past few days, the leak has turned into a downpour leading Mercedes to release official pictures of the new C-Class Coupé, ahead of its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

Porsche will be showcasing a new hybrid model in a world premiere at next month's Geneva Motor Show. Following the success of the Cayenne S Hybrid, Porsche have described this model as signalling "..a new chapter in the Zuffenhausen company’s 'Porsche Intelligent Performance' philosophy."
