Over the weekend Ken Block unveiled his new racecar in its final livery - the Hybrid Function Hoon Vehicle (“H.F.H.V.”). Block described it as an "All new car, new livery, new awesome!"

In his announcement he also confirmed that his newest Ford Fiesta race car, also known by the nickname “the hybrid”, is designed as one car to do three tasks - gymkhana, stage rally and rally cross.

When we caught up with Ken Block in Pembrokeshire last month, we discovered first-hand what his Gymkhana FOUR racecar looked like, we even learned what it sounds like, but Ken remained tight-lipped over the exact details of its powerplant. All he would say is that it's a 'Hybrid' and that it was just as much fun as his 700-bhp Gymkhana 3 Ford Fiesta.

Not wishing to be outdone by the launch of BMW's M3 DTM Concept, Audi has revealed a rendering of its own 2012 challenger - the A5 DTM Concept. Internally named "R17", the A5 DTM will replace the four-door A4 DTM with which Audi has won the DTM title four times since 2004.

BMW have unveiled their 2012 DTM contender, on the eve of the DTM Show Event at the Olympic Stadium in Munich this weekend. The M3 DTM Concept is based on the current E92 M3 equipped with a 480 bhp V8 engine.
