Renault's new 2012 Twingo broke cover this evening prior to its scheduled appearance at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. It's more evolution than revolution, but Renault have certainly tidied up the styling of its entry-level model as it adopts several of the latest styling features introduced by Renault's head of design, Laurens van der Acker.

Inspired by the 275 bhp Mazda MX-5 GT race car competing in the 2011 Britcar Production GTN Championship, Mazda has introduced a new ‘Black Limited Edition’ MX-5, available from mid-July.

Over the weekend Ken Block unveiled his new racecar in its final livery - the Hybrid Function Hoon Vehicle (“H.F.H.V.”). Block described it as an "All new car, new livery, new awesome!"

In his announcement he also confirmed that his newest Ford Fiesta race car, also known by the nickname “the hybrid”, is designed as one car to do three tasks - gymkhana, stage rally and rally cross.

The most powerful C-Class of all time is how Mercedes describe the new C 63 AMG Coupé Black Series, which was unveiled this morning on the eve of the German grand prix. Boasting a maximum output of 510 bhp and peak torque of 620 Nm, the AMG 6.2-litre V8 engine accelerates the C 63 AMG Coupé Black Series from zero to 62 mph in 4.2 seconds.

When we caught up with Ken Block in Pembrokeshire last month, we discovered first-hand what his Gymkhana FOUR racecar looked like, we even learned what it sounds like, but Ken remained tight-lipped over the exact details of its powerplant. All he would say is that it's a 'Hybrid' and that it was just as much fun as his 700-bhp Gymkhana 3 Ford Fiesta.
