Audi finally lifted the wraps on its much anticipated TT GT4 at last weekend's final round of the DTM series in Shanghai. The TT, developed by the Technical Development and the Production divisions plus quattro GmbH, is intended to extend Audi’s new modular customer motorsport program from 2012 onwards.

Paul Di Resta (AMG Mercedes C-Class) finished second in the final race of the 2010 DTM in Shanghai winning his first DTM Championship title. Gary Paffett (Salzgitter AMG Mercedes C-Class) won the Shanghai race and finished the season runner-up ahead of Bruno Spengler (Mercedes-Benz Bank AMG C-Class) who completed the Mercedes-Benz 1-2-3 success in the drivers’ championship.

Sunday's result represented the 9th win for Mercedes in a season of 11 DTM rounds, sealing both drivers and manufacturers titles.

Aston Martin Racing has launched a new Vantage GT4 for 2011. The new V8 engined racing car takes its design inspiration from Aston Martin’s V12 Vantage road car, which provides enhanced aerodynamics and increased downforce.
