Peugeot reveals details of the new 208 GTi due in Spring 2013
There's a lot riding on the new 208 GTi - the troubled French car maker needs a halo model to draw customers back into its showrooms after cutting 8,000 jobs in July. Sales are down 23% compared to 2007 levels and unions have described the cuts as a "declaration of war".
If ever there was a time to 'get it right' with a GTi model, this is it.

IOTD: Belgian Grand Prix: Michael Schumacher’s 300th Grand Prix (w/DOWNLOAD)
This weekend's Belgian Grand Prix will mark the 300th start for Michael Schumacher in Formula One, at the place he fondly refers to as his 'Living Room'.
But it also marks 21 years since the 7-time world champion's debut on the GP scene, driving for Jordan, before moving on to Benetton at the next race.

Has McLaren’s ‘Tooned’ animation series crashed out on the opening lap?
If there's one thing most people know about Ron Dennis, it's how much of a perfectionist he is about.. well everything really. Here is a man who has built McLaren up to become the most respected of all race teams, second only to Ferrari in some people's eyes.
So when I first watched their new animation series - Tooned, produced together with the creative wizards at Framestore, I was curious to find out about McLaren's goals for the project and how it would push the boundaries for branded content in motorsport.

Citroën adds al-fresco driving option with the new DS3 Cabrio
The Citroën 2CV (deux chevaux) featured a full-width canvas sunroof that would roll-up from the boot to the front windscreen. It was an ingeniously cost-efficient car which CAR magazine journalist LJK Setright described as "the most intelligent application of minimalism ever to succeed as a car".

To promote the new 2013 Kia Soul, those music-loving hamsters return in the third of the brand's chart-topping series of viral videos.
'Bringing Down the House' is set to the Axwell Radio Edit of 'In My Mind', by Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl featuring Georgi Kay, and takes the 21st century's dance music hamsters back in time to a stuffy 18th century opera house.

Dany Bahar files £6.7m claim against Group Lotus for wrongful dismissal
It will come as no surprise to anyone who's been following Group Lotus recently, that Dany Bahar, who was fired as CEO back in June this year, has initiated a claim for £6.7m ($10.6 million) against his former employers for "unlawful early termination of his employment".
