If you haven’t already had enough of the A1 this week, there’s more, but I promise this will be the last… at least until next Tuesday’s second episode of the ‘The Next Big Thing’.

For the fourth year in a row, AUDI AG will have its own stand at the GTI meet at the Wörthersee and is once again expecting Audi fans from throughout Europe to congregate in their masses between May 12 – 15 in Reifnitz, Austria. Innovative adhesive film designs, vibrant paint finishes as well as exterior add-on parts and a matching interior will transform a total of seven models of the new compact car into spectacular motto vehicles.

“The Audi A1 fits in with the GTI meet because customization has always been a central topic for the Audi fans here at the Wörthersee and will also play a special role for A1 customers,” says Stefan Sielaff, Head of Audi Design. Sielaff and his team have developed seven different models for the appearance at the Wörthersee, including a model sporting an “FC Bayern” look. The Audi A1 1.4 TFSI shows the design possibilities offered by add-on parts, special paint finishes and adhesive films.

A1 “Follow Me” (Citrus Yellow), 1.4 TFSI
A1 “Wasserwacht” (Suzuka Gray), 1.4 TFSI

A1 “Pickerljäger” (Ibis White), 1.6 TDI
A1 “Fashion” (Aubergine), 1.6 TDI
A1 “Hot Rod” (Daytona Gray), 1.4 TFSI

In addition to the customised A1s, Audi will also have on display the R8 GT, RS5, TT RS, R8 Spyder 5.2 V10 and A3 Cabriolet. Given that the Wörthersee is a GTI event, Volkswagen will be bringing along two special Golf GTIs – the Adidas GTI and GTI Excessive, we’ll bring you more news on these once we receive the pictures.
