Filmed on a frozen lake in Hämeenlinna Finland, Jaguar test driver Minna Sillankorva explores the XKR-S convertible on the ice in a near-permanent sideways attitude…
The XKR-S Convertible, billed as “the most potent and fastest open-topped GT model” that the company has ever built, was developed with the single intent of providing its driver with as much roof-down reward on the track as it delivers on the road.
With 542bhp and 680Nm (502lb ft) from its supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine, the XKR-S is the ideal tool to indulge in lurid slides on track, but would the same be true on ice?
Minna Sillankorva takes the XKR-S convertible along to the ice-covered lake and finds out. All in the name of science, you understand..
