Eterniti Motors, the boutique carmaker behind the £210,000 Artemis SUV, officially launched its first showroom at a party in London yesterday.
The 10,000 sq ft facility in Park Royal, north-west London, is the first of a network of wholly-owned showrooms in key cities around the world, which in 2013 will include Hong Kong, serving as the company’s Asia-Pacific hub.
The Artemis is intended to compete against other luxury Super-SUVs from Bentley, Lamborghini and Maserati, although you’d be right in spotting that it’s based on the floor plan and layout of a Porsche Cayenne.
With its 4.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing at least 600bhp and 553 lb ft (750Nm) of torque, the Artemis can accelerate from 0-62mph in 4.5 secs and can exceed 180mph.
The car in these latest pictures represents the final, customer specification for the Artemis SUV, although buyers have virtually unlimited say over the choice of colours, trim and materials used for their own car.
Its body panels are made from hand-built carbon composite and finished in a range of paint colours, complemented by a wide selection of chrome trim. Ultra-low profile 315/25 tyres sit on dedicated 23″ super-lightweight forged alloy rims in a variety of styles.

The interior is lavishly handcrafted in Britain, with a specification which features the finest leathers, quilted floor coverings and boot trim, lambs wool rugs, veneers including natural woods, piano black and carbon fibre, and the no-cost option of starlight roof lining. Thousands of combinations of exterior and interior trims mean that every car will be unique to its owner.
The Artemis has a limousine-like rear cabin featuring twin reclining rear seats with heating and cooling, iPad-ready holders with electronic reveal, and a drinks chiller with crystal glasses.
It’s aimed at the rapidly emerging Asian and Middle East markets, where the combination of limousine comfort and high performance is in increasing demand.
Eterniti has plans for further models in the range, including another SUV and a super sports car developed from the ground up, which could form the basis of a future racing programme.
The team behind Eterniti have extensive experience in retailing some of the most prestigious luxury and high-performance brands, plus an engineering team led by Alastair Macqueen, who previously developed the Jaguar XJ220 and engineered three outright Le Mans 24 Hour race wins for Jaguar and Bentley.
