Yesterday [22-Sep-2009] Fisker Automotive and the U.S. Department of Energy agreed to terms for a conditional loan of more than half a billion dollars to create affordable, fuel-efficient plug-in hybrid electric cars, made in the U.S.A.

It seems timely therefore to pay more attention to the way these cars drive, and this video of Fisker’s Karma lapping Laguna Seca provides quite a interesting perspective.

It would stretching credibility to describe its sound as appealing, but it’s better than I had hoped for. Have a listen..
