The 83rd Salon International De l’Auto officially opens in Geneva tomorrow (5th March), but as is the norm these days, many of the premieres will be revealed the day before (4th March).
In addition to the first reveals (such as Ferrari’s F150), there will be a series of European premieres including Mercedes’ brand new A 45 AMG and BMW’s i3 Concept Coupe. Also making their public debuts will be cars such as Kia’s pro_cee’d GT / cee’d GT and Bentley’s all-new Flying Spur.
We will update this page with the most significant new concepts and production models as they’re revealed.
Spyker B6 Venator
The B6 Venator is powered by a transverse mounted V6 engine, delivering approximately 375bhp which powers the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Due for production in early 2014, the Porsche 911-sized Venator will cost somewhere between $125,000 and $150,000.

Ferrari Enzo successor (Project F150)
Ferrari’s new Special Limited Series model will use a 6.3-litre V12 engine producing 789bhp at 9,000rpm and 516 lb-ft of torque at 6,750rpm, combined with an electric motor producing the equivalent of 161bhp (and 191 lb-ft of torque) to deliver a total output of 950bhp and 715 lb-ft. Zero to 62mph is accomplished in less than 3 seconds, zero to 186mph in less than 15 seconds, with a top speed in excess of 217mph.

Porsche 911 GT3 (Type 991)
With a power output of 468bhp at 8.250 rpm, the GT3′s boxer engine can rev as high as 9,000rpm propelling it from zero to 62mph in 3.5 seconds and zero to 125mph (200km/h) in less than twelve seconds. It’s the first GT3 ‘without’ a manual gearbox and the first Porsche to use active rear wheel steering. Porsche claim a Nürburgring Lap time of under 7:30 minutes.

Toyota i-ROAD
As you can probably guess from its name, Toyota’s i-ROAD is an all-electric, three-wheeled personal mobility vehicle (PMV) designed for two people. At 2,350mm long, 1,445mm high and 850mm, Toyota claim the i-ROAD is as easy to manoeuvre through traffic as a scooter or motorcycle. It has a range of up to 30 miles on a single charge.
Kia provo
The provo is a hybrid powered concept which combines a 201bhp 1.6-litre T-GDi engine with a 44bhp electric motor. It also features Kia’s first seven-speed DCT transmission. There’s very little chance of Kia actually making the provo, but they say it hints at a potential future B-segment vehicle.
Lamborghini Veneno
Following on in the same vein as the Sesto Elemento, the new Veneno is a low-volume special with a stratospheric price tag. With an uprated 729bhp version of the Aventador’s V12 engine, just 3 examples will be built priced at $4.6 million. And just in case you’re reaching for your imaginary (limitless) gold card, unfortunately they’ve all already been sold.
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible
Just a few days before the Geneva Motor Show, Chevrolet gave its fans a sneak preview of the Stingray Coupe at three private venues in Switzerland and Germany. The new Stingray Convertible was also on hand, which Chevy released official photos of yesterday. Powered by the same 6.2-litre V8 engine producing 450bhp and 450lb-ft of torque, the Convertible is due to go on sale in Europe next year.
