Maserati’s new GranCabrio MC will make its international debut at the Paris Motor Show, topping off the brand’s four-seater convertible range.
Inspired by the success of the GranTurismo MC Stradale, the new GranCabrio MC is a true grand tourer, inspired by the racing profile of the GranTurismo MC Trofeo World Series.
The GranCabrio MC sits above the £102,615 444bhp 4.7-litre GranCabrio Sport, which went on sale a year ago, although unlike the two-seat MC Stradale, the GranCabrio MC is a full four-seater.
Extending 48mm longer than the GranCabrio and GranCabrio Sport, the GranCabrio MC is characterised by its look-alike MC Stradale front-end, adopting a profile dictated by the car’s increased length, which is designed to optimise the car’s aerodynamic lift and drag.
The rear of the GranCabrio MC is characterised by a large spoiler, for greater negative lift at high speeds, while inside the spoiler, built into the luggage compartment, is a third brake light. The standard version comes in the same colour as the body and buyers may also choose a carbon finish within the various customisation packages.
Pricing and final specification will be announced soon.
