Due to be officially unveiled on 28th February, Volvo’s new compact family hatchback has been outed in these leaked images revealed today.
Borrowing design cues from popular S60/V60 and XC60 SUV, the V40 cuts a swathe through the opposition with a stylish fast-back design and confident sporty stance.
The five-door hatchback is due to premiere at the Geneva motor show next month, where it will take centre stage in Volvo’s considerably improved line-up.
There are no details, thus far, about the new V40’s specification, engines or price, but it expected to replace the current V50, assuming of course Volvo decides to build an estate variant.
We’ll have further information on the 28th.
