It’s been a long wait (Kazunori doesn’t like to be rushed), but here are the first official screenshots for the full-fat gaming experience, Gran Turismo 5.
As always with these images, they don’t depict an entirely realistic view of what you’ll see on your own TV set and it’s the re-vamped physics engine that we’re most looking forward to using, but this will also be the first Gran Turismo game to feature realistic damage – which could make passing those license tests a little more challenging than usual.
The planned release date is yet to be confirmed, but I’d stick it on your Christmas list and make sure you circulate it to family and friends early.
To provide a little more insight into the changes within GT5, we’ve also included a gallery of images courtesy of the guys at GT Planet.
