Renault teases a new high-performance EV concept

Car launches don’t come more cryptic than this. Renault, makers of cutesy EVs such as Twizy and Zoe, has decided to produce something with more teeth.

The words ‘Formula 1’ feature in their press announcement, as does ‘muscular styling’ and ‘impressive performance’.

Make of that what you will, but at least we won’t have long to wait. Countdown to the reveal is just 3 days away – Thursday 25 April at 12:30 (BST) when Renault’s latest concept car will debut at its Valladolid plant in Spain.

Final word goes to Renault, “It’s a concept car that will make a lot of noise…but, in total silence.”
