As first deliveries of the Karma luxury electric vehicle reach US customers, Fisker has released a teaser image of its next game changer – the Surf. Due to be unveiled at next week’s Frankfurt Motor Show, the wraps will come off what looks to be a shooting-brake design riding on the same wheelbase as its 4-door sibling.
Just like the Karma, the new Fisker Surf is an electric vehicle with extended range (EVer), powered by a dual-drivetrain using the company’s 256 bhp 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine and 175kW generator, delivering 981 lb/ft (1300 Newton/metres) of torque from zero RPM.
Whilst we’re not expecting significant innovations in its powerplant, the Fisker Surf is said to deliver a bold new twist, which will ‘wow’ global audiences with its combination of luxury and head turning design.
Fisker is keeping details of the Surf under wrap until September 13th, but it’s sure to be one of the Frankfurt’s most memorable new models.
