As GT racing continues to build in prominence, right around the world, the mighty Mercedes-AMG GT3 was simply peerless in 2022, not only in winning races but championships too.
From GT World Challenge Europe to British GT, and from ADAC GT Masters to GT World Challenge Asia, then onto Bathurst; such has been the rising dominance of the German marque in international competition that brands such as Ferrari, Audi, Lamborghini, Porsche and Aston Martin not only spent a great deal of last year mostly on the back foot, but were also often reduced to seeking ad hoc successes as opposed to building victorious campaigns.

Indeed, this current evolution of the original concept is so capably balanced and exacting in its design that it allows its pro-drivers to explore previously guarded limits whilst encouraging an ever-growing band of amateurs to develop their craft whilst competing enthusiastically against hardened stalwarts.
