This race was the last Group A event for the Nissan Skyline GTR and Ford Sierra RS500 in Australia, supporting the 1992 Australian Grand Prix meeting in Adelaide. With more than 500bhp these were ‘proper’ touring cars and the racing was epic.

Love the Adelaide GP circuit, probably my all time favourite street track!
Those GT-Rs were beasts, and they looked great too. The Commorode by comparison looks too high and too narrow, they are much nicer today.
