Stunning commitment and total precision. We’d love to have seen Schumi and Hamilton on the same track.

Argh, that TC cutting in is criminal. Absolutely dynamite lap, though. Makes the lap of Suzuka from Senna that’s kicking about on YT look positively pedestrian by comparison. I’m finding that the older I get and the more objective I’m able to be about Schumacher*, the more I appreciate what an incredible driver he was. The level of precision in that onboard is just breathtaking, and it makes me appreciate all the more how special drivers like Hakkinen and Montoya at their peak were, to be able to take Schumi on and beat him fair and square.
* The Damon Hill / Adelaide incident has taken 15 years for me to forgive. I hold grudges.
