Last week American singer songwriter Lana Del Rey performed her new track, 'Burning Desire', to an audience of VIP's in the gardens of the 18th century Musée Rodin in Paris. It marked the beginning of a global programme to promote Jaguar's new F-TYPE, the company's first two-seater sports car since the iconic E-type was launched more than 50 years ago.

You've got to hand it to Jaguar, despite last week's leaked photo of the new F-TYPE, they've stuck resolutely to their launch schedule, releasing teaser videos (above) and reminding us that all will be revealed in Paris on Wednesday (26th).

F-Type was the name used for the critically acclaimed compact 2-seat concept shown by Jaguar in 2000. It was Jaguar's answer to the Porsche Boxster and seemed the ideal route for the Coventry brand. But much to everyone's disappointment, the concept was shelved.
