This morning Caterham F1 published an interview with Technical Director, Mike Gascoyne, in which he explains the design and engineering of the new 2012 CT01 and the team's target for the season ahead. BMW's X6 has received its first significant update since its launch in June 2008, although most of the external changes are subtle enough to go unnoticed by most enthusiasts. The most notable change is the addition of the new X6 M50d M Performance model which fits in under the X6 M at the top of the model range.

In what will be seen as the most controversial move yet by the German manufacturer, BMW has unveiled 4 new M models - all of them powered by diesel engines. In a subtle play on words BMW have named the range, BMW M Performance Models, distinguishing oh-so-subtly from their core BMW M Models such as the M5, M3, 1M and soon-to-be-launched M6.

Although Peugeot's withdrawal from Le Mans series racing last week was a disappointment to those who have enjoyed its rivalry with Audi, the 2012 season will remain a closely fought affair due to the introduction of Toyota's TS030 HYBRID Le Mans challenger.

Although it was due to be released tomorrow (26th January) on the cover of this month's F1 Racing magazine, printed copies of the magazine arrived on subscriber's doormats this morning, forcing Caterham to hastily release this low-res glimpse of their new car for its online audience.
