New Morgan 3-Wheeler due for launch in 2011

Yesterday, Jayne Jones of the Morgan Motor Company confirmed the launch of a new Morgan 3-Wheeler at next year’s Geneva Show.

She went on to say that the maker of fine British sports cars, whose business was founded on the design and production of 3-wheeled vehicles, anticipates the price tag to be “under £30,000″. Enthusiast and potential customers do not have long to wait for more information as she added that details of the car’s design and power plant would be revealed in November 2010. We can't wait.

PARIS: Lotus reinvents itself for a new type of customer

Lotus surprised attendees at the Paris show today by unveiling not one, but five new models, rather overshadowing the Lotus Evora S and Evora Auto which also made their debut at the show. Four out of the five cars are completely new models (Elite, Elan, Esprit and Eterne) whilst Lotus also displayed a redesigned Elise, due to reach production in 2015. By then the Lotus Brand will be unrecognisable from today, with prices substantially higher and very different customer profile.

BMW wins major contract to supply Saab with engines

BMW Group has received a major order from Swedish automobile manufacturer Saab to provide petrol engines for a new range of production models. The contract for delivery of the engines from 2012 was signed on Wednesday by Ian Robertson, BMW AG Sales and Marketing Director, and the CEO of Saab Automobile, Jan Åke Jonsson, in Trollhättan in Sweden.
